Hi all VIPs,
Hopefully the three days break did bring back the 'energizer' to move ahead. Guess, at this point, everybody is busy finalizing all the assignments to be hand in at the end of the month.
It is so fast nowadays that we're all almost to the end of the semester. Yeap, it's three weeks from now - the semester is going to be over and the final exam will take place. I guess, that has been the routine and one may say what a boring life to lead..well- things never gonna change if we don't impart new things. If one had tried something new this semester (study technique, classroom management, group project discussion or even group study), I think somehow they would feel that life is a bit different than it is used to be. I am not saying a 360 degree from last semester but a little bit different would make a difference.
By the way, what do you guys think of the Strategic Marketing 310 or Business Policy 320?(depending on the units that you are enrolled). These two units demand that students must have the analytical thinking skills as one of the survival tools. Do you find any difficulties in understanding the subject matter? Did you see any improvement in terms of your thinking skills ( for example - problem solving skills, ability to analyze the information and also applying the facts into the real business context).
Share with me your thoughts here...in the mean time - stay focus and hope all of you will make through smoothly this semester.

Greetings....
The three days break was somehow an extra time for me to catch up with my work. Hahah! I think that there are a lot of differences that had being instilled in me since I took SM and now BP. Its the way a person would think regarding a certain matter. Why would I say it? Well...most of the time, you would just definitely just think inside the box or maybe just having ideas externally. What about the outside? The views of a simple thing could be completely different if it was being viewed outside of the box or at a different angle. This is what I think after I had taken SM. However now BP is my main priority.
Anyhow Sham...today's SIA presentation was indeed an enlightening one. Haha! Thanks for all those info eventhough my group could not live up to your expectations. :p Cant compete with the Sifu who is so keen on the airline industry. Haha!
And also there is one more matter...to those who wanted to send email to Sham, please use your student mail as I sent an email using my personal email address kind of jammed Sham's computer. Hahah! Sorry ah... :p Paiseh....

Sifu, Strateic Marketing was fun... Anyway, I took up marketing 'cause I think it's challenging... Marketing can really apply in real worlds when you understand it. Hope to learn a lot more from you in BP next sem.

oh about TM rebranding... what make the different? i think just the appearnance and the service is ok a bit.. at the rest still the same.. so is it worth it to spend so much money in doing rebranding?

Sorry for the late response...been beezzzy with work but anyway - I had a good time during our case discussion eventhough some still prefer to be the observer but I should thnak those who make an effrot to keep the discussion going..we'l see waht happen in the Village Roadshow

I think must be something wrong with the site; by the way...that's how it goes in the real world sometimes it's not easy when you changed the strategy as it involved the whole system...the new name (branding) might work but then the service it self should also have an impact...have a splendid weekend.

Lexy...yes I agree with you Marketing is an interesting subject...it's all about what is outside there especially when you got to see the innovations being made by companies..such amazing...hopefully BP will be more interesting for you....

anyway.. off goes the unrelated topic, hope this coming week is gonna be fun in class.. like wut the see fu said, village roadshow = interesting... so lets put our wager on a positive feedback...
